Josh Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 I probably shouldn't give this away becasue it mkaes this thread irrelevent, but this was already readily available, and it will make a lot of you happy: Characters returning this year (according to IMDB) include: Kane and Kirsty Henry Hunter Selina Roberts Blake and Sophie Dani Sutherland Lance Smart And it mentions Marilyn, but isn't she dead? Might be in a dream or flashback. Or another tumor induced hallucination. Fisher and Will are returning in 2008. Emmadolly, are you saying that someone implanted false memories into Jesse to get him to confess to something he didn't do? This isn't Paycheck.

Same author, similar memory thing, easy to get mixed up. Maybe Corey will come back to get revenge on Irene again, try the mercury thing again and she'll see Chloe again. Or she could appear in flashbacks or dreams or tumor induced hallucinations.

Personally, I can't see Kane and Kirsty, Dani, Selina or Marilyn ever returning. Kane and Kirsty leaving was like the end of an era, there are no Sutherlands left in the bay any more, the only person they are really connected too is Irene. I think Tempany Deckert (Selina) is doing alright with her career in the USA and Tammin Sursok (Dani) has her music career now, so I don't see why either of these 2 would feel the need to return. Emily Symmons (Marilyn) was in Emmerdale, but I'm not sure if she is still in it because I don't watch it. I have heard that soap stars here get paid more than soap stars in Australia, although I'm not sure how true that is. If it's true though, I think she'd probably be more likely to look for more work here rather than go back to Home and Away. Marilyn isn't dead (as far as I know!) she moved to England after baby Byron died. I think it's possible that Henry might return once Tobi Atkins has finished school, but he never really had any storylines in the past so they'd need to think of some good reasons for him to come back. I suppose it's always possible that Lance, Sophie and Blake might return, I don't know what the actors are doing with themselves now. I'd like to see Don Fisher return. I'd only want Will to come back if Gypsy, Lily and Rachel came with him, which I doubt will happen since Kimberly Cooper said she didn't want to play Gypsy anymore.

I don't see Marilyn returning as she is in Emmerdale, a uk soap. Also she has moved over to the uk so this probably isn't true, and what storyline could they do anyway without Fisher? I also don't think this website is reliable because these cast members particularly wanted to leave the program for their own reasons, i.e. dani for her singing career.
