Eerik Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 Gypsy had a lesbian girlfriend (they went to same school I guess) in the begin of 2001. She also fell in love to Shelly at that time. But I kind of hate gays and lesbians.
emmasi Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 Eh, I tried watching The L Word once or twice... wasn't a fan. No pretty boys, I guess. Queer As Folk - bring it on!! . And Will & Grace is good too. I wish they had more boys kissing though - it's very rare. When Will broke up with his beloved boyfriend, there wasn't even a kiss goodbye . Stupid sensors... I think they would have to make it an issue to start with if a gay character was intorduced, or if an existing character came out. As Ryan said, it wouldn't make sense to have the other characters just ignore it from the get-go, and I don't think the audience in general would be ready to just accept it without question. I think giving everyone a little time to adjust by discussing it would be a good idea. Then after that it would just be another part of who that character is and no one would care.

Drew Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 Shame on you! lol. Always Greener had a gay character Nick. I found him really funny lol
Pete4Leah Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 I liked that Shelley Gypsy storyline. Worked well until the writers ended it way before it was necessary. Damn G ratings!

Pete4Leah Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 Yea what's wrong with gays and lesbians?

I couldn't agree more. An exsisting character coming out would be an interesting twist I hadn't thought of; it would certainly make other characters reactions more interesting!
Drew Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 Who are they going to pull out of the closet? Well Chris has been complaining that he's had "Eight" girlfriends on the show. Maybe they should shut him up and give him a guy instead lol
