x..kt..x Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 Theres a programme on sky called the L word. The L stands for lesbians, well i think it does, or have I made that up? Humm..
Ryan Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 Just wondering, did Ryan mean we had to move? But I like this board thingy! *hugs webpage* lol This is called a thread.
Pierced Musie Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 Ahh! Of course. Well, there have been more males. Will and Grace! Will and Jack are both gay, but they have no shows about lesbians do they? Not that i'm upset about this! I like Will and Grace! But I was just thinking... Note the sentence that is in bold. The answer: The L Word. Lesbian central and is fabulous to watch. All of that action in 1 hour is fantastic Oh and if you want to see a proper show based on gay men then watch Queer as Folk. Although I'm guessing you may be a little young for that show.
Nicom Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 Ohh right, I didn't know that was a show based on lesbians, i thought it stood for Love! lol I'm soo not clever.. lol
x..kt..x Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 Yeah, my mum and dad wouldn't let me watch anything like that. OMG, how young does that make me sound! lol
Pierced Musie Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 I am not surprised your parents don't let you watch shows like that. You are far too young and innocent
AngelRose Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 If the Bay had a character who was gay, it would be very important that their sexuality wasn't the ONLY important thing about them; perhaps it wouldn't even have to be the first thing we know about them.
x..kt..x Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 But then they'd have the whole they're gay storyline.

Exactly. A character who just happens to be gay and not a gay character. There is a difference.
