Jack Holden Posted February 26, 2006 Report Posted February 26, 2006 I can be protective over both my brother and sister, even though im sure they can both look after themselves! They can be the same with me although im closer to my brother than my sister. I remember once my sisters ex was slagging her off and although she was probably the one in the wrong I was still mad with him and did the whole "thats my sister you are talking about" thing. But yes the general feeling is that dads and brothers (older ones especially) are protective over daughters/sisters.

ste Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 I can't believe how little effort they have made to establish Tony as a character. They've done this "we have a pact where we always tell the truth" thing to make him seem interesting. Almost inevitably Tony will have a big secret like he has a secret daughter or he used to be a woman or something, that will come out one day and his sons will hate him for breaking the pact he always preeches about.

If there is a secret then it will be that there is another son. Before the Holdens appeared, wasn't there rumors that it would be 3 sons and a Dad?
x..kt..x Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 Oooh, that would be brill! Lets hope he's as fit as Jack! I think they should make Tony into a bigger character because I think he's really good and I would enjoy a storyline about him much more than one about Amanda.

It's so obvious the whole "As a family we don't have any secrets" thing is a lead up to Tony having a big secret.

I read a few rumours the other day from where I can't remember, and one of them was there would be another Holden (presumably a son). They even gave him a name which I don't remember. May be lies because some of the other rumours seemed quite far-fetched.
