On the down under tv site home and away is one of many australia programmes that they are going to show. This must be good news for everyone who want's to see all the old episodes again.

And also, a home and away without jack, oh no! lol I don't really see everyones fascinations over the old episodes, maybe the ones from like 6-7 years ago, then people can catch up, but things from the very beginning don't really affect what happens now, so why watch them?

Whether or not they affect whats happening now has NOTHING to do with it. Back in the day, Home and Away was a very good show (even if it was a different show to what it is now) and was very good quality TV. For some of us who remember the early years (and im talking 88-95), the era in question had some very important memories. Things like Meg and Blake, Bobby kicking Greg out after his affair with Fiona, Shane and Angel and Dale's death defined my early childhood, as did Dodge vs Steven, Saul and the cult, Shannon-Selina-Jack-Curtis gang and Chloe's rape. You don't watch re-runs of a series to look at the relationship between the current state and early stages of a show (although u can observe this) but for the quality it has itself and / or the memories the era the eps were shown in held........
