The weirdly exclusive relationship with her son, her tendency to get off with schoolboys her son's age... And then they cast two good looking people too close in age to *actually* be mother and son, and... ooops.

Laurie was only 34, there is no way she could be his mother!

I think Kit, Tasha and Hayley (as played by Ella) could have had possibilities, also Jesse, Flynn and Noah.
