:P Thats right - 10 issues of the official Home and Away magazine (for which I am paying an EXTREMELY high price!!!! I am considering, doing some scans of these items and putting the pages on the site, so that everybody can share (unlike *i***sm**e with the videos recently). Anybody interested???

Oh right -

well apparently, I have to pay the amount in the next few days (£318.00) and I cannot send weekly cheques of £60 as I did 'not let the seller know of this in advance'. Apparently, he is going to give me a 'second chance' to buy the item and put it on auction again if I fail to do this. He seems like a real dag; very rude and not bothered. I am upset about this as I really want the magazines and this bloke's just being an uncooperative gimp. :(

You only have your self to blame for the high price dear  , I was watching the auction for the above item!

You have no idea how to bid for things in the first place. I could not stop laughing at your bidding atempts  .

I don't think the seller was very rude and not bothered and a an uncooperative gimp. Get over yourself if members could see how you bid they see what I mean. Its people like you give e-bay a bad name  I just hope we get another chance to bid for the items :P .

Well, I didn't see the bids, so can't comment, but I make a point of not making any bids until the last few minutes. Bids before that just push the price further and further up, which is not doing anyone any favours, other than the seller of course!

Also, you can't expect someone to accept monthly installments, this is ebay, not a department store! Don't bid unless you can afford to pay for the item. Simple really.

ETA - just looked at the bids... I see what you mean Auntie Di, that is pretty silly. However, not quite as silly as it looks. The first bidder bid £100, so NenehCherry2 kept bidding until she was the highest bidder at just over £100. Then the other guy bid again on 3rd Feb with a bid of £303. So NenehCherry2 desperately tried to win again by bidding up to £313. It's a lot of money though, and she obviously didn't think about how she was going to pay for it before making such high bids!

Yeah OK guys I realise that now - I've never been good with money LOL. I've sorted it out with the seller and come to an agreement with him. The items are still mine and I will still be more than happy to share the mags with the site. Thanks for the insults,

Steve (male) :P

I too was watching those and couldn't believe it when the price went up to £100 overnight - let alone £300! I was considering getting them for BTTB at first.
