No, in the 90s there was Tom Nash. Different character, but still a Tom.

I just assumed that when they said he was the first Tom, that he was the first character called Tom, since there have been 2. I wasn't sure if there was only 1 actor who had played Tom Fletcher, I didn't really watch it back then
