Are you serious? Maybe this is some sort of cultural difference, but in the uk that's an extremely offensive word. I know you didn't mean it like that, but careful you don't go offending people.

I didn't know about this word until today, when I looked it up in my dictionary and it's listed as an offensive word both in British and Australian English.

Oh, crap i didn't know, over here it's just a word of calling someone from that background... How affensive is it? What does it mean over there?
