Do any of you think that Cassie is cheating on Ric?

She only bought Ric the c.d because she feels guilty. Something's going on.

I highly doubt she is cheating on him. I imagine her sneaking around might have something to do her dealing with the stage their relationship is at, and how it reminds her of her abuse. She might be seeing a counseller or something??

There is no suggestion in her behaviour that she is being unfaithful, and it seeems highly out of character. I reckon it is a counseller or therapist. However, of course, cheating is the conclusion Ric is going to jump to...

Ric catches Cassie kissing another guy, someone she met at counselling. I'm not sure if she kisses him properly, or if it was just a little friendly peck, but she does kiss someone else and Ric sees her doing it. I think Ric dumps her, they split up for a while, then Matilda manages to get them to talk to eachother and get back together.

At least that's what I read somewhere on here, might have been the Australian forum

I hate to say it, but this storyline is stupid. I mean, where did it come from? All of a sudden Ric and Cassie realise they have 'trust issues', yet there's never been any incling or mention of it until now! I hope they're just doing a Robbie and Tasha and get back together quick smart, otherwise it's the crappest excuse for a break-up since Barry and Irene. Oh, wait, but that was only yesterday...

They split in episode 4014. Cassie is suspiciously sneaking around, Ric rightly so jumps to the conclusion she is having an affair, he follows her, see's them together, punches the guy & after a series of arguements with Cassie, Cassie decides there is a lack of trust between them & breaks it off, Ric is not happy.

SPOILER:

The bickering continues for a long time. They both audition for parts in Colleen's play & they give such convincing performances, sepearately, that they are cast together - as lovers. There continues to be a series of incidents between them, involving chillie sauce & onions, bickering, etc. Colleen then has enough & fires them both, but re-hires Cassie & she is partnered with Aden, Ric is clearly jealous. Cassie begins to show more than a friendly interest in Aden & they begin dating, which upsets Ric, who confides in Flynn that he is still in love with Cassie. Ric becomes unfriendly towards Aden, which results in more animosity between the estranged couple, to a point where Cassie blurts out "i don't even know why i ever bothered going out with you in the first place". Everything eventually comes to a head when Ric violently tackles Aden on the Rugby field, his brother, Sean doesn't take too kindly to it after Aden ends up in hospital & won't make cellection, he catches up with Ric after the play performance outside the school & beats him up, he is found by Hyde & taken to hospital, which spells disaster when he facse no end of problems trying to get himself off the hook over the incident with Aden. Sean then tries to cover his tracks with Aden's help, but Flynn's onto him, which leads him into danger, the police home in & it's all over. Cassie realises after overhearing conversations that Aden isn't who she thought he was & dumps him, which leaves the way clear for her & Ric to make another go of things, after several episodes of flirting & a game of truth or dare which turns life threatening, they finally share a passionate "lets get back together kiss" in episode 4055.
