Morag

Seeing Irene, Diana and Morag together has reminded me of something, didn't Morag and Irene hate each other years ago? I have a vague recollection of them running the diner in the early 90s and arguing a lot. So when did they suddenly get on and when did Morag get so mellow and so keen to help everyone? Come to think of it didn't she (Morag) used to hate the bay too?

Morag was always a bitch when she was a regular cast member, but since she's started returning as a guest (this century) she's mellowed a lot. Not quite sure why to be honest! You still wouldn't want to cross her though, would you?! Or meet her on a dark night - especially with that hair!

It was Morag and Ailsa who hated each other. When Morag made her return in 2001 she was still quite mean. She mellowed when she became a permenant guest in 2004 though she had already mellowed a little during Alf's brain tumour.

Interestingly the entire storyline involving Diana trying to get Olivia is almost identical to one in 1993 where Morag tried to get custody of Sam and Ailsa tried to stop her.

I actually love Morag now.. yes, she's melllowed a lot, and it's often odd seeing her so happy to come to the rescue of Bay residents when they need legal help - like Jesse, Irene, the threat to the Caravan Park etc. But I think she's actually fulfilling a great role in the cast now, and I love how she's more or less permanent, but yet not. It's brilliant, and long may it continue.

Morag & Alf are brilliant together, although she seems to have become more Ailsa-like in the past few years, at least we see the Morag we know and love whenever Colleen is around.

Cornie is fantastic! Her comic timing is impecable and she has chemistry with virtually every character.

Morag's double acts with the likes of Colleen, Alf and Celia make any episode. Her cutting one-liners leave nothing to be desired!
