nenehcherry2 Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Ok. I'll try to upload them. On video I have some of the crash, Bobby being taken to hospital, Fisher and Greg visiting her, the doctors telling Pippa, Greg and Fisher that she will suffer brain damage and may not survive, Sam visiting Bobby with Greg, Pippa visitng her, Greg and Michael telling Sam that she's dead, Greg and Fisher arguingat her bedside about this, Greg telling Sam that Bobby is dead on the beach and then her machine getting switched off. The clips are a montage of scenes, part of an episode living did in 2001 when they skipped five years worth of episodes in their early years re-run. Her death (epsiode 1304) was apparently the fifth-highest rated episode in the UK ever, with the highest apparently being Sally's wedding that never happened, the second an episode where Shane decided how to get revenge on Tug (a couple of months before Bobby's death), the third Meg's death, the fourth Shane and Angels wedding and the sixth Shane's death.
ste Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 I remember the funeral flashbacks. It used to be a H&A tradition that they showed flashbacks at funerals but I think Michael's was the last time they did it...? It would be GREAT if you could upload the episodes! I remember Morag sitting there at the funeral showing no emotion.
nenehcherry2 Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Morag was pure evil, even by that stage. I remember Shane reading out Bobby's death notice to Angel from the paper and Fisher saying that Morag 'is the most wickedist, inhumane person ever' when her name was mentioned just as she walked in the door and said 'well thats a very charming greeting Donald' and Fisher replied 'GET OUT!' I also remember Alf having one of his biggest flames ever at Morag when her scheme to get custody of Sam was unearthed by Ailsa and telling her she was 'finished'. She screamed back something like 'Yes I do hate Summer Bay about as much as I hated that damn wretched girl, your darling second wife and that little brat (sam) that was of no relation to her anyway. If you want to cut me off then go ahead Alfred - I just don't care anymore' before storming off into her car, never to be seen again - for about 8 years anyway!!!
ste Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 I remember Alf telling her she was no longer part of the family and never to come back, but I don't remember her yelling all that - wow!!
breezer Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 My God I would LOVE to see all these scenes SO much, if only I had them. PLEASE please PLEASE! Begs some more. I was only about 7/8 when Bobby died and it really effected me and my outlook on life - yes I know its not real and I know I was very young at the time but it honestly did. If they do a 'best of' dvd, (I hope it wont be too much longer) I hope this storyline features heavily.
Ryan Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 I loved it when Morag returns in 2001 and she bumps into Donald in the diner. MORAG: “Donald, how lovely to see you.†DONALD: “Morag, you almost make that sound believable.â€
nenehcherry2 Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 does anyone remember a scene a couple of episodes after Bobby's funeral with Fisher and Sam walking on the beach and Fisher tells Sam about reincarnation and Sam sees a seagull and he says that's what he thinks Bobby is.
ste Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Yep I remember that, wasn't that the last time we heard Bobby's theme? (until ep 4000).
loveangelmusicbaby Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 I didn't watch home and away back then but I vaguely remember Bobby. She must have been a young mum then..I think she was in her mid or early 20s when she had Sam? Well she looked kinda young. I miss Sam. I remember being obsessed with the actor..he was so cute!
