I personally believe.....

....that their split is purely for dramatic purposes. It made the custordy battle more interesting, because had to fight it alone - she would have had a better case if she were with Barry. I also believe that if that hadn't split them u, the stuff with Kim's mum would. Barry would've been unlikely to tell Irene what he's been keeping from Kim so that would've created tension there. By having them apart it got rid of an obstacle that perhaps the writers didn't want to explore.

However, I personally think it won't be too long before they are reunited - it's just a hunch I have!

That would be soo good if you are right. I really like them as a couple. In fact I think they are the only really credible couple, they have that certain on screen something which makes it work.

I always thought that Kirsty and kane worked because they had that on screen chemistry, with any other actors that story, which was quite a contentious one, might not have worked. Irene and Barry have that extra something too.

It is sweet, but everytime they get all lovey, I feel a bit cringey, maybe I'm just not a hopeless romantic, or maybe it's cause they are kind of old, and I don't like Hyde!

I like Irene and Paris together most - I thought they had great chemistry and he was very good looking. Ahhh I'm thinking of him now.

arrggghhhhhhh...they have gone bakc to the Barry Beth and Irene credit...I really cannot understand this. They did a new one for THREE weeks? This is no good for my state of mind. I really must stop coming on this site...LOL...I only came today as I got an e mail saying I had a PM...and I hoped against hope that it was some good news...oh well...back to reality. I am still fed up. Maybe there will be one of Beth and the new guy soon and they are trying to fool us all.I can not give up hope.

Astrogirl, I liked Paris too, but he was abit of a wimp, despite being totally gorgeous to look at....LOL. However, Barry is much better for Irene. They are the perfect H & A couple I think... He is much more complex than we thought when he first appeared, and he has been so loving with Irene, and I really like him now.
