*Dawny* Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Oh my word, I thought Duncan was living with Roo in the States I have watched HaA since the very begining (yup im that old ) but stopped watching when ITV ditched it. I didnt start watching it again till a few months ago, but I feel like ive forgotten everything I ever watched
TabbyCool Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Roo was in hospital, that's why Alf went to visit her in the States, and that's when he met Martha and brought her to Summer Bay with him. Roo didn't die though, I don't remember Duncan talking about losing Roo, was he not talking about losing his own mother, Ailsa? Martha was talking about losing her adoptive mother, not her biological mother.

In total reference their all connecting to the fact that Roo had a serious accident and remembering what it was like to loose the closest people to you.
Nathan Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 Duncan still lives in the US with Roo. He came to Summer Bay for Alf's 60th.
dan Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 Duncan was making peace with Fisher and said he'd understood what he (Fisher) had gone through with Seb, when he was losing Roo, and that's why he (Dunc) had reformed. Or something like that.
cool-chick Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 It all makes sense now i was confused aswell and thought roo was gone.
