claire_louise Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 lol u find it cheesey, wot bit do u find cheesey <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I find it cheesy that whenever something bad happens or someone has a problem, 'Super Flynn' comes to the rescue and immediately sorts everything out. He's a doctor, he's not God. I don't expect soap to be particularly realistic but I think that's pushing things a bit - people just aren't like that in real life. I agree that Joel is a better actor and more three-dimensional than Martin (although Martin is better looking IMO), but I'm not overly keen on the direction the character has taken since he took over. As a character, Flynn was more believable and more interesting when Martin was in the role. Admittedly, that's mostly down to the writing. I think the problem is that the viewers have taken Sally to their hearts to such an extent that no one will ever be quite good enough for her. However, I did think that Sally and Martin's Flynn had more sexual chemistry. NB. At the risk of sounding like a school teacher (for the hundredth time): Flinn-fan, you're not supposed to use text-talk on here.

Well no offence but other soaps eg. eastenders are much worse. people get beaten up and are left to die, they get stabbed and are left to die where as in home and away they actualy have a nice doctor who can help them. Sally and Flynn, best couple ever! And Joel is a much better actor!

I have nothing against them having a doctor, it's the fact that he does about 10 jobs in one and that he seems to be practically perfect. He's just too good to be true for me.

I like this Flynn better.
tessa305 Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 I think thay are the best couple in the sense that the actors work really wel together and you can believe that they are really i love and wouldnt believe it if they split. On the other hand some couples dont come across that wasy, eg-for me - dani and scottdidnt have a great chemistry, or kirsty and seb, not Hayley and Scot either, perhaps cos i remember her with Noah and they were really believable (poss because they were in love for real). i think that JM is a better actor although i cant really remember MDW.
