Well I guess this way it shows that it's not just designed as a replacement over the Christmas break. We've just had it confirmed in the last few minutes that the schedule has been finalised today, and the pilot episode will actually take up the 2-hour slot from 12pm to 2pm on the Monday. So yes it will be the feature-length version. Then it's as stated before, double bills every weekday from 12-1pm, with the entire week's eps repeated on Sunday from 9am-3pm. It'll also be available on the streaming platform, and there'll actually be the first 30 episodes available from launch (i.e. the first six weeks on-screen, or three weeks at 5Drama pace). I have to admit Amelia and Lacey bonding finally broke me! Lovely scene. However, now Jo's the enemy! I've done Thursday/Friday in one sitting and it was nice to have 40 odd minutes of pure character driven telly, as well as a diversion from the darker stuff with the Fowlers. Laura V has clearly had some fun if the promo is anything to go by but even though it's obvious David moving on with Amelia (and in particular Lacey's hostility) was ultimately setting us up for this, I like the way it's being done.
